This is a rather old and small project which I still consider a great design exercise. My friend Nelly came back from French Guinea with a beautiful selection of original hand-made fabrics which she transformed into simple timeless bespoke dresses. I designed a series of mannequins inspired by the slim line of Maasais' bodies and their peering eyes made of diodes. We presented the collection in an ephemeral space in a Palladian villa North of Venice.
